We have experienced a steady growth pattern over the past few years, and your donations have helped us reach more women as our presence in Texas increases.


How is my donation spent?

All of our expenses go to support our mission of reaching women in the commercial sex industry in Texas. Money is spent across the following areas: Programs, Awareness, Events, and Leadership. The Programs area includes club outreach, dancer care, dancer transition and mentoring.

Jesus Said Love is recognized by the IRS as a non-profit, 501(C)3 organization under the name of its parent ministry, Bartimaeus Ministries, Inc. Bartimaeus Ministries, Inc. is a subordinate in good standing with National Fellowship of Ministries, a 501c3 organization holding a group exemption.

Founded by Brett Mills in 1999, Bartimaeus Ministries exists to help those in need and encourage people in their faith using culturally relevant programs and ideas. Bartimaeus Ministries started with an itinerate worship leading element in which Brett and Emily travel leading worship for churches, camps and conferences.  

With a desire to add tangible expressions to the songs they were singing and leading all over the country, Jesus Said Love became a reality after the Mills led worship for a conference in Austin, TX that focused on ministry to women in the sex industry.

Brett & Emily continue to lead worship and share about the Jesus Said Love movement.
