Since February, we have been praying for a new City Team Leader (CTL) for our Dallas team. After many applications, resumes, and interviews, we are excited to announce that we’ve found the right fit for our Dallas team! Please welcome our new Dallas CTL: Jodi Crawford!
Jodi graduated from Texas A&M with a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies. Upon graduation, she joined the workforce as a Reading Teacher and Specialist with Richardson Independent School District. Though Jodi was very successful in her field, she felt a distinct call to ministry five years into her career. Obediently, she soon joined a local church as the Girls’ Ministry Associate in the Student Ministry. She held this position for 2 ½ years before deciding it was time to stay at home with her two boys Wyatt and Mack.
Jodi has a passion for ministry, building relationships, organization, and leading people. She enjoys photography and spending time at the lake. Jodi is originally from DeSoto, TX and currently resides in Richardson with her husband Andrew and their two sons. Jodi and her family are a part of Watermark Church in Dallas.
Jodi has already begun the training process, and we are so thrilled to have her on board! We are excited to see her lead our Dallas team in this next phase of ministry. Please pray for Jodi as she continues to train and build partnerships around the Dallas area. If you are interested in helping out with our work in Dallas, click here to sign up.
This month has been a total whirlwind! I've experienced rush of information and support as I've officially joined the team of JSL. I am in the process of sending out letters to family and friends to introduce them to this new journey the Lord has called me to and ask for their support both spiritually and financially. My goals this month are to raise support for Dallas and myself, establish relationships with at least two churches by the end of July, and begin to form my leadership team. I am prayerfully seeking opportunities and am in the process of setting up meetings with women who are interested in hearing about JSL and have a heart for serving women. They will be exciting meetings. The Lord has laid these women on my heart as possibilities to serve alongside JSL in Dallas. I am also doing a lot of researching, brainstorming, and praying as I make contact with various organizations, and ministries in order to build long-term relationships. July will be busy as we begin tons of church partnership meetings, and we will hit the ground running in August. Dallas' big prayer points are: partnerships and a strong team.
