November Temple/Killeen Upadate

October was a wild month. How did autumn sneak up so quickly? With the changing of the seasons, it is becoming more clear that JSL in Temple/Killeen is entering a new season. It has been so beautiful the way awareness is being raised in the community here. I have seen different churches in the area call each other up and rally together to serve our women. A pastor told me in a meeting this week, “This is exactly what our church needs in order to wake the sleeping giant.” We have a saying at Jesus Said Love that this ministry is as much for the Church as it is for the unchurched. I am so excited about the ways the fellow believers are jumping on board and encouraging the people they care for to get involved too.

This month, I had the privilege of going on San Antonio’s Halloween outreach. Going on outreaches in other cities is always such a joy because I get to see the way my peers love and care for their women. I’m so honored to serve alongside such genuine loving women in all of our cities.

Present Needs:

  • We are still looking for people to be on prayer team. Prayer team meets on the night of outreach to pray and worship together as our outreach is happening. If this is something you are interested in, please contact Kat Pasichnyk at 254-541-9499.

  • We still need a few more women to serve on club team. If you are interested in being on club team, please e-mail me at laurenr@jesussaidlove.com

  • Men, we need you to serve on security team! We are looking for a few men to serve as drivers to the club on outreach night. If this is a way you would be interested in serving, please contact me at laurenr@jesussaidlove.com!

Prayer Points:

  • Personal financial support www.stayclassy.org/laurenrjsl

  • More volunteers in the area

  • Continued partnership with churches

  • The management at the club we will be going to in December. Pray that they will be welcoming and open to our relationships with dancers.

December 19th will be here so very soon and I and so thankful to serve a sovereign loving God. I’m so thankful for your encouragement and your prayers as our first outreach is quickly approaching.

LOVE,

Lauren | Temple/Killeen City Team Leader
