ABOUT US
Lovely Village is a community of healing for survivors of sexual exploitation, trauma and trafficking and their children through avenues of community, commerce and creativity. We provide prevention and education resources as well as outreach, safe housing, holistic, long term direct services, creative arts, job training, and employment. Lovely Village offers two years of free community housing, livable wage employment and holistic, trauma-informed care within a walkable, safe community to increase the socio-economic capacity of survivors and their children.
Lovely Village, formerly known as Jesus Said Love, has a strong community presence with innovative, well-connected founders with a 20 year history of reaching women in the commercial sex industry.
JOB SUMMARY
Lovely’s COO will be the architect and conductor of our operational excellence, ensuring Lovely Village scales strategically over the next two years, grows sustainably, and runs efficiently with optimal impact. The COO will partner closely with the CEO & CIO (co-founders) to analyze, define and execute strategic goals, optimize our internal systems and processes, and lead a team of talented, mission-driven individuals to deliver impactful programs with sustainable outcomes. A successful candidate will be results-oriented, innovative and analytical with a drive for change. Lovely Village’s COO will need to manage multiple priorities independently, while designing and implementing high-quality systems that will ensure our operational success. Strong leadership and control of these processes will be required, from beginning to end. Since Lovely is building a new residential program, the job centers around implementing existing models of care from sister organizations and adapting the program to meet our unique needs.
